And what better way than through the testimony of the students themselves.
The reason I decided to go to Patriot Academy was because my neighbor kept telling me how amazing it was, and would not leave me alone until I agreed to at least try it. I went expecting to only learn the political process and nothing else, but I was wrong.
At Patriot Academy, you learn so much more. They teach you how America was founded, why it has been successful, and how preserve American freedom for generations to come.
Before I went to Patriot Academy, I thought that the government was an unreachable group of people, and that it was impossible to change the direction in which our country is headed. I now realize that government is not unreachable, and change is very possible should I choose to help make it happen.
Patriot Academy taught me how to overcome my fears of public speaking and to be more confident in myself. At Patriot Academy I had the opportunity to get job interview experience, and to meet and talk with actual Senators and House Representatives.
The most important thing I learned at Patriot Academy was that I am not alone, there are other people that have the same ideas as I do, and that we can fight together to preserve our American freedoms. Over all, the Patriot Academy experience was the best experience I have ever had, and would encourage everyone to try it!
