What first got you interested in Patriot Academy?
I heard about the National Patriot Academy from a friend. A few months later, I heard about the Northwest Patriot Academy from another friend, and I mulled it over for awhile, then decided to attend, thinking I would receive practical knowledge about the political process.
Was the experience what you had expected? Why or why not?
I wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but Patriot Academy had a very enjoyable atmosphere. It was educational, but fun at the same time. I couldn’t have enjoyed my time more!
Has Patriot Academy changed the direction where you see your life heading?
I already had plans to run for public office in the future. Attending Patriot Academy inspired me and cemented those plans even more.
What particular skills did Patriot Academy teach you that you are using today?
The communication drills that we did at Patriot Academy have helped me a lot. I’m using those lessons to improve my public speaking skills!
What was the most important thing you learned at Patriot Academy?
Patriot Academy taught me the importance of making decisions based on principle. Especially when it comes to voting on bills, the decision should be made on content, not those who wrote them.
